OPEN CALL

SENSUM FANZINE

For Cross-Sensory Creatives Working in All Media

October 1–31

There are moments when a color evokes a scent, a sound recalls a forgotten place, or a texture becomes a memory. Sensum Fanzine is dedicated to these spaces where the senses intersect and new forms of artistic expression emerge.

We invite artists, writers, performers, designers, perfumers, chefs, musicians, filmmakers, scholars, and interdisciplinary creatives to submit work that explores the relationships between sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

We are looking for projects that challenge conventional ways of experiencing the world—works that translate one sense into another, dissolve the boundaries between disciplines, and invite audiences into immersive, embodied encounters.

We welcome submissions in all media, including:

• Visual Art
• Photography
• Film & Video
• Sound & Music
• Olfactory Art & Perfumery
• Food & Taste Practices
• Performance
• Poetry & Creative Writing
• Essays & Critical Writing
• Installation
• Textiles & Material Practices
• Digital, Interactive & Emerging Media
• Experimental & Hybrid Projects

Whether your work is intimate or expansive, conceptual or experiential, we are interested in projects that embrace curiosity, experimentation, and sensory imagination.

Submission Details

Open Call: October 1–31

Application Fee: $35 USD

Eligibility: Open to artists and creatives worldwide.

Selected contributors will be featured in a forthcoming issue of Sensum Fanzine, an international publication celebrating innovative cross-sensory practices and conversations across art, culture, and perception.

We invite you to share work that asks not only What do we see? but How do we experience?

Cross boundaries. Engage the senses. Submit to Sensum.

All materials should be emailed or sent via Drop Box or We Transfer to an@sensumfanzine.space
