PROJECT: Reframing by Dadais Americanus: What do you do with all the emotions not yet felt?

Artists: Dadais Americanus and Natalia Ivanova

Concept: There is an essay that does not want to be read. It wants to be held, absorbed, consumed in every sense of that word. It wants to enter you through the unconscious before it enters you through the eyes.

Reframing by Dadais Americanus began as a theoretical proposition and has become, with each iteration, something more dangerous: a spell cast in plain sight. The work advances occult astro-anarchy, a speculative methodology merging esoteric systems and anti-structural impulses, not as aesthetic gesture but as rigorous analytical method. It argues that the frameworks claiming to support artists, such as contracts, institutions, even the language of the "creative economy" itself, are not descriptors of artistic labor. They are simulations of it. A copy of a copy of a copy, so far from the original that no one remembers what the original felt like.

The installation Reframing at Art Agency Reframed in Chinatown New York positions thought as a sensory organ. Reframing is designed to engage cognition as sensation, to make the arrival of an idea feel like the arrival of a body in a room: sudden, physical, reorganizing.

The essay also materializes as blotter art. To consume it is to collapse reading into metabolism. To ingest it is to enter into it legally and spiritually. The blotter carries an IP morals clause: consumption in any dimension, visual, physical, oneiric, binds the consumer to the ethical terms of the artist. The body becomes the contract. Ingestion is consent. Within this framework, space is not a backdrop but an instrument. The agency becomes installation, the installation becomes economy. Labor is not represented; it is enacted, distributed through bodies that carry it forward. Value detaches from exchange and relocates in experience that is unrepeatable, non-extractive, and resistant to capture.

A star remains the orienting fiction. With each ingestion, a minor oath is whistpered to perceive from beyond the given architecture, to sense the system as something that can be stepped outside of, if only momentarily. The promise is not escape but reconfiguration. Not purity, but saturation without depletion.

The short version persists like a rumor: the work can be printed, consumed, internalized across planes. The artist sets terms that exceed the page. The reader becomes a participant, carrier, witness. Thought, once taken in, refuses to remain abstract. It occupies. It reorganizes. It stays in your system. Forever.

Duality is overrated. No Exit.
